About / Biography
I am a flutist and piccolo player with a musical background spanning Romania, Spain and the United Kingdom.
I studied flute at the Universitatea Transilvania din Brașov, completing my Bachelor’s studies in Musical Interpretation – Flute and later a Master’s in Style and Performance in Instrumental and Vocal Interpretation. I also spent an Erasmus year at the Conservatorio Superior de Música de Málaga, studying with Maribel Sanjuán, following my studies in Romania with Prof. Univ. Dr. Filip Ignác.
Throughout my musical journey, I have performed as 1st, 2nd and 3rd flute as well as piccolo in orchestras and ensembles across Europe. My experience also includes chamber and solo performance, including the Four Tune Flute Quartet, appearances with the Aylsham Singers, and recitals in Romania and Spain. In 2011, I received the Public Prize at the Festivalul Muzicii Maghiare in Bucharest.
Alongside performing, I have built an extensive career in music education and performing arts leadership. Teaching and working with other musicians has strengthened my belief that listening, communication and collaboration are at the heart of meaningful music-making.
Now based in Spain, I am bringing orchestral performance back to the centre of my professional life. I am excited to continue developing as a performer, collaborate with new musicians and orchestras, and embrace the opportunities that this next chapter brings.
